With its beautiful beaches and warm climate, the Costa Blanca has become one of Europe's most popular holiday destinations.
The Costa Blanca has more than 320 days of sunshine a year, the summer temperatures are between 25º and 35º and the wintertemperatures are between 10º and 20º.
The area is well-known for its white beaches, golf courses, fantastic restaurants and charming cities such as Alicante, Torrevieja, Murcia and Orihuela.
The most sunny district is the Torrevieja area, with an average of only 300 mm rain per year. This gives great opportuinites for outdoor activities all year round.
The winter is so mild here that the almond trees blossom already in January.
The Costa Blanca stretches from Denia in north, passes Torrevieja and stops by Pilar de la Horadada in the south, and innland from Orihuela to the mountains of Marina Alta, included Villena and Alcoi.
